Pre-K & Kindergarten
The Beginning Years of Faith, Learning, and Growth
A Strong Start at Immanuel Lutheran School
Special attention is given to the youngest members of Immanuel Lutheran School as they begin their educational journey. In Pre-K and Kindergarten, children build essential academic, social, and faith-based skills that prepare them for a successful transition into elementary school.
Students learn foundational skills such as letters, numbers, and motor development while listening to Bible stories, singing, coloring, and learning to write their names. Through guided play and structured learning, children grow in confidence, independence, and respect for others.

Growing Academically, Socially, and Spiritually
Pre-K and Kindergarten students learn through hands-on experiences, play, and purposeful instruction. Social development is emphasized as students interact with classmates, learn cooperation, and practice kindness and respect.
Students also participate in the
Big Friend / Little Friend Program, where older Immanuel students mentor and encourage younger learners. Frequent visits to the elementary building—including the gymnasium and library—help children feel comfortable and excited as they prepare for first grade.
