Investing in Well-Rounded Students
Students at Immanuel Lutheran School are engaged both inside and outside the classroom. From music education to clubs and enrichment opportunities, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build strong relationships.
All activities are led by dedicated staff members who foster Christian fellowship, creativity, and personal growth.


Music Programs
Music is an important part of student life at Immanuel Lutheran School. Through instruction and performance opportunities, students learn musical fundamentals, Lutheran hymns, and develop confidence through creative expression.
Music Opportunities
General Music
- All students in Grades K–5
- Classes held twice weekly
- Focus on musical concepts and performance preparation
Band
- Grades 5–8
- Weekly band lessons during the school day
Piano
- Grades K–3
- Weekly piano lessons during the school day
Singing Knights
- After-school choir
- Meets twice weekly
- Leads chapel services and church services
Middle School Music Electives
- Required for Grades 6–8
- Options include Hand Chimes, Recorders, and Xylophone

Prairie Pals
- Grades 1–5
- Explore and learn about the native prairie on campus
Cooking Club
- Grades 3–8
- Prepare kid-friendly recipes to enjoy at home
Computer Programming Club
- Grades 6–8
- Introduction to programming concepts
Knights Honor Society
- Grades 6–8
- Student leadership, service projects, and school-wide events
Drama Club
- Grades 3–8
- Perform skits for community events, chapel, and programs
Art Club
- Grades 1–3
- Explore and create a variety of art styles
Sewing Club
- Grades 4–8
- Beginner and advanced lessons
- Sewing projects and competitions
Girl Scouts
- Troop #870 meets at Immanuel Lutheran School
- Focus on leadership, service, and skill development

Electives and clubs help students discover passions, build friendships, and grow as confident, capable individuals. These experiences support Immanuel’s mission to educate the whole child—academically, socially, and spiritually.

Immanuel Lutheran School is one of the many ministries of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Our partnership with the church strengthens our mission and provides students and families with a larger faith community.
All school families are warmly invited to worship with us throughout the week.

- Saturdays – 6:00 p.m. (Traditional)
- Sundays – 8:00 a.m. (Traditional)
- Sundays – 9:15 a.m. (Teaching + Musical Variety)
- Sundays – 10:15 a.m. (Education Hour, Christ for Kids, Biblical Studies)
- Sundays – 11:00 a.m. (Contemporary)
