Jan T.

Former Parent, Retired Teacher, Volunteer, Church Member

As a child, I attended a Lutheran grade school. As a parent, I wanted the same Christ-centered education for my children. They graduated from Immanuel. It has been my experience that Immanuel prepared them academically, socially, and spiritually with a foundation to live Christ-centered lives. They truly are “connected to Christ for life.”

Immanuel Lutheran School prepared me for high school academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. I was prepared for a rigorous education in high school by having teachers who developed a higher level of education. Spiritually, I developed a good foundation of learning to lead a chapel, which prepared me to organize/lead chapels in high school. My coaches at Immanuel prepared me with a physical work ethic and a positive attitude that was continued in high school. Finally, emotionally I was prepared for the challenges that I would encounter in all areas of life by having supportive but challenging teachers and staff from prek-8th grade.
