One Month Left

May 2024

We are in the final month of the school year! May is jam-packed with activities. Our students will complete the last MAP testing session for the school year in early May. Many classes are finishing up field trips, including the third graders’ annual outdoor education trip at Walcamp in Kingston, Illinois.

Our annual Race for Education is this month, too. This is typically our biggest fundraiser of the school year. Funds raised from this year will go towards the general operations of the school. We also have one more PTL fundraiser this month. Join us at DIYogurt on May 17 after school for a sweet treat! The PTL has been busy with planning a celebratory week during Teacher Appreciation Week.

The National Day of Prayer is held in early May. This year, our students will participate by engaging in a special chapel service focused on prayer.

There are a couple of faculty and staff positions open for the next school year. The jobs are posted on this website. If you know of someone who may be interested in working at Immanuel Lutheran, please let him or her know that position listings and application information may be found on the website.

There are some spaces remaining in some of our classes for the 2024-25 school year. If you are interested in learning more about the educational opportunities provided by ILS and enrolling your child, please contact the school office at (815-547-5346). Prospective families complete the following steps to gain admission to ILS:

1. Tour the school and meet with me
2. Complete the Admissions module online (information provided after Step 1 is completed)
3. Complete the Enrollment module online (information provided after Step 2 is completed)
4. Complete the Financial Aid module online (if needed)
