Summer break is here...Be Safe & Enjoy!

Even though the students and teachers left for the summer, ILS remains a busy place as we prepare for the 2023-24 school year. Most of this preparation is “behind the scenes” that takes place in the school office and throughout the facility as we plan to move classrooms, paint, install SmartBoards, etc.

Our church hosts a Vacation Bible School for a week this month. This is a fun week of learning about Jesus and connecting with families from the community. Several of our classrooms will be transformed into unique travel destinations as a part of the VBS theme. The annual golf outing is held in the afternoon of June 6 and will be a terrific time of fellowship, fun, and fundraising for our school!

We look forward to welcoming new faculty members this coming school year. Miss Alexandra Spear is joining the faculty as our middle school math and science teacher, Mr. Tim Oliver is joining the faculty as fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Caroline Wright will serve as Pre-K third and fourth grade teacher, and Mrs. Daehler will serve as technology teacher and middle school resource teacher. We also have a few new members of our extended care and teacher aiding team: Mrs. Ohme, Mrs. Rohde, and Ms. Orduno. We are still looking for a few extended care workers to join our team.
