Enrollment Season Begins!

January 2024

January is an exciting month in Lutheran schools. We will celebrate National Lutheran Schools’ Week at the end of January with other schools across the country. We’ll kick the week off during the weekend of January 20 and 21with our students helping to lead church services at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Knights Honor Society has planned a week of special theme days, activities, and treats for the student body. We’re also looking forward to having an assembly hosted by Dan Gogh.

Even though 2024 just started, we are already looking ahead to the 2024-25 school year! At this time, we begin our enrollment process, plan for staffing, and begin budgeting for the next school year. Enrollment will open to the community starting in February. Prospective families will complete the following steps to gain admission to ILS:

1. Tour the school and meet with me
2. Complete the Admissions module online (information provided after Step 1 is completed)
3. Complete the Enrollment module online (information provided after Step 2 is completed)
4. Complete the Financial Aid module online (if needed)

We have been blessed to fill classes quickly over the past few school years, especially in our Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms. If you are interested in learning more about the faith-based education at ILS, please contact the school office at 815-547-5346 to set up a tour.
