Enrollment Opens This Month!

Winter flies by in Lutheran Schools! We had a number of snow days in January, but still managed to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week January 21–27. This annual event allows us to join hands with more than 1,800 schools that are part of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod to proclaim and celebrate God’s work.

February is expected to be even busier! The theater club is preparing for the spring musical and the third and fourth graders are looking forward to whipping up some tasty dishes in the cooking club. This month we are also inducting students into the Knights Honor Society and hosting the NED Show Assembly and the PTL’s annual Daddy-Daughter Dance. Our students will have the opportunity to enjoy a long weekend over Presidents’ Day (February 19) and teachers will engage in a school-improvement day.

Believe it or not, we have begun preparations for the 2024-25 school year! During this time, we begin our enrollment process, plan for staffing, and start the budgeting process. Enrollment will be open starting this month. Prospective families complete the following steps to gain admission to ILS:

1. Tour the school and meet with me
2. Complete the Admissions module online (information provided after Step 1 is completed)
3. Complete the Enrollment module online (information provided after Step 2 is completed)
4. Complete the Financial Aid module online (if needed)

We have been blessed to fill classes quickly over the past few school years, especially in our Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms. If you are interested in learning more about the faith-based education at ILS, please contact the school office at 815-547-5346 to set up a tour.
