Is your school affiliated with a religious organization?

We are affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Students at Immanuel Lutheran School come from a wide range of religious beliefs and we foster an environment of cultural sensitivity and mutual respect.

Does Immanuel Lutheran have a non-discrimination policy?

Immanuel Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, or national ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, citizenship status, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletic and other school-administered programs.

What credentials do Immanuel Lutheran’s teachers have?

We are blessed to have a mix of veteran and beginning teachers. Our teachers are certified and many hold master’s degrees in education.

What grade levels are offered?

We offer a Pre-K program for students ages 3 and 4, full day kindergarten, and grades one through eight.

How many students attend Immanuel Lutheran School?

Approximately 300 students currently attend Immanuel Lutheran. Some grade levels have multiple sections.

What are the class size limits?

  • Pre-K for Age 3: 16:1 with a teacher aide
  • Pre-K for Age 4: 18:1 with a teacher aide
  • Kindergarten: 25:1 with a teacher aide; 20:1 without a teacher aide
  • Grades 1–2: 24
  • Grades 3–8: 26

How do I set up an appointment for a visit to the school?

Contact the school office to schedule an appointment with Immanuel’s principal.

Admissions

What are the steps in the admissions process?

We invite prospective families to visit our campus during an Open House event, personal tour, or a school event. Get more information on the admissions process. Classroom visits are encouraged.

Can prospective students spend a day at the school?

Yes. We welcome prospective students to spend time with us. Call the school office to schedule a visit.

Can a student enroll during the school year?

Students may enroll during the school year if the classroom has not reached its enrollment limit.

Do you offer any financial aid?

Hours & Current Students

What are your hours of operation?

  • School office: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Full-time students: 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.; doors open at 7:40 a.m.
  • Morning Pre-K: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; doors open at 7:40 a.m.
  • Afternoon Pre-K: 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • Before-school care: small gym; doors open at 6:30 a.m.
  • After-school care: small gym; closes at 6:00 p.m.

Are students required to wear uniforms?

No, however there is a dress code. Get more information on dress code.

Is Extended Care available?

Yes. Students can be in the building from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We have extended care options for both the morning and afternoon Pre-K classes. Learn more about extended care.
